Theyre treating that as if it were an rb26. Crank Bolt is around 329-344 ft-lb.

 

I wonder why the TVS1900 used on the Magnuson kit for the 2016+ won't work for the 1GR-FE engines. Is it just a matter of fitment?

 

different intake manifold. on the 3rd gens maggy includes a new one for that unit. on ours it would be beneficial for an entirely new lower intake manifold but expensive and I believe that is the only limiting factor. Same with the 5th gen 4runner, they have a twin screw (urd or whipple) but the ports are different too on the intake manifold.

 

I really don't get some of the people on this forum.

Basically it's a pointless venture. Those wanting to make it a fruitful venture better have a lot of $$$$.

Plus on top of that, pulley setup is different. I believe theirs is a 6 rib so that conversion would be a part of it as well.

 

6th gear holds fine.

 

Just to make it easier. I have the crank pulley holder. If you would like to borrow, PM me. I forgot who was looking. Spent too much time catching up on 4 pages. I have longer bolts for it as well. If installing the NST light weight pulley maker sure the holes line up. Mine did not.

Someone on Instagram laughed when I said market price was between 800-1000 for lightly used with coils.
I’m waiting for someone with a new TRD PRO didn’t realize they can’t lift and fit 35’s with the OEM suspension.

 

Ive sold three sets now. 1350, 1500, 1600. None of those prices included the shipping. The 1600 was a fresh 2020 black annodized with 500 miles on it.

 

I think thats a fair price. If you got another near virgin set lmk.

Yup. It took me a while not only just to source some but to get them at a somewhat fair price. Still over paid......but not 1800-2000

 

There is a lot of fishing going on. I hear they are a pretty amazing ride. The swaps I did were guys going long travel and one switching to BP-51s

 

Y’all just need to save up a few more paychecks and get a real mid travel kit. Sure you’re double the price, but easily 5x both the quality and performance gain
