I need help! When I crank my wheels all the way to the left and hit a bump it makes a horrible Screech type noise but only when I have the wheels turned and I hit a bump what would that noise be coming from?

Maybe some rub? Does it sound like tires hitting something? What tires do you have on?

Have you looked under there for a shined spot? Maybe you could have a friend bounce on the corner of your truck while you look under there with the wheel turned?

To help narrow down your issue provide vehicle specifics. 2.7, 4.0. Manual, auto. 2wd, 4wd.

Sometimes there’s a little nylon ball on one part, and a little cup for the ball to fit into, a steering stop? I’ve seen on other vehicles the ball is torn off or ripped and the cup is gouged. This is why I don’t go over bumps or up and down driveways with it cranked hard over. Crank it til it stops, back off a smige. Next time you crawl under it, you’ll probably see what I’m describing.

I'm thinking Waasheem hit on a probable first place to check which is your steering stops. They might be worn out so it's a steel on steel contact and then they would rub if you hit a bump and screech.

It is the steering stop that prevents over turning of the spindle. When those two metal pieces are in contact and you flex it up or down you are rubbing metal to metal. Hint: Don't get into the habit of over steering into the stops.
