TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I'm waiting to go full tubular front end caged but I can't seem to find anyone in the area worth a damn in that type of fabrication who treats it more like a business and less like just a hobby.

 

Might have to travel a little south for that

@12TRDTacoma whenever you’re ready I’d call JD fab, LSK, and Solo Motorsports. They all do great work and exactly what you’d be looking for and familiar with ifs. Otherwise there’s a few in the Tahoe area but they’re gonna want to sas you.

 

Oh wow. He is in Alameda, which I frequent a lot. I will give him a call tomorrow.

I actually hit him up some time this last year and I never heard from him at all. So either he was busy or was not interested. I don't know.

 

I would second schafers def a business and Baja race experience they won this last time admins in their class. Haven’t used but all good things from friends

His work is indeed solid as I currently have some spindles he welded up for me. I guess he must have forgot to reply back.

Me and my cousin built my full front and rear tubular bumpers, skid, and rock sliders. Plan is to box the frame, cage the front, and build a bed cage with towers for the rear which will tie into a cab cage. I'll snap some pics tomorrow of the current work.

I live in Norcal, but a drive to Socal for some work doesn't sound too unfeasible.

 

All DOM tubing too. I know we could have used welded seam, its pleanty strong enough for a truck of our weight, but my brain just likes the though of DOM more.

WHY ARE WE YELLING?

 

If I were to build an off roady taco id go with the jd fab since the marlin crawler are not making that long travel setup or are not making progress.

 

Marlin has started taking preorders now.
