yes. I have a box of the hardware that was removed originally. I didnt send those to Downsouth. One thing that I didnt like, they did not replace the lower bearing. I can move it by hand. I know it could be an issue later

it bends down to clear the stock exhaust pipe. They also sell a rerouted exhaust version that is flat.

I feel like you can’t get that mad about the fitment not being perfect when they don’t spec it to fit 4 cylinders.

It looks like 2 circlips per shock. Not too difficult. Hopefully can be done with a C-clamp, and not removed fully and done on a vise?

The bent section is for the exhaust crossover on the V6. They could've made one large rectangular piece of metal that covers the transmission and transfer case with no bends in it. The only bends needed are at the sides to add strength, like they did to the transmission skid.
I'll be adding a "review" of the transfer case skid later today (or tomorrow).

C-clamp, socket and a bolt as the driver. I also plan to replace the c-clip whenever I remove one, either because it's not re-usable or because it's lost in a corner after removal.

Wait so there’s no button to lock 4h like in 4runners and stuff? I’ve never actually gotten first hand experience with a manual fj to know the system. I always assumed it was a similar system to the land cruisers with a button for 4x4 lock and a lever for high/low

Not that i'm aware of. After looking at the FSM it looks like everything is manually shifted.

Someone in my family has a M/T FJC and i have never seen a diff lock for the t-case in it, only for the rear diff.

Can't give a solid recommendation yet as I haven't installed mine, but I ordered the APEMAN C450. CNET did a 2021 review and it scored well as a low cost dash cam option. From my personal research it seems like everyone likes it.
