Hi, my name is Anthony smith, new member bought my first Toyota Tacoma TRD 2006, 68.000 miles so clean inside and out , no body rust!!!! Love my truck. About a year later gas tank fell out taking a turn and had towed to dealership. Told I have a rotted out frame and Toyota had a recall before I bought truck, Now stuck with 15.500 to replace while still in debt to bank for 9000. THANKS Toyota

Can you post some pictures. There are a lot of people on here who have already DIY repaired their frames. We can at least give a second opinion on the dealerships advice about the $15,500 replacement needs.

Also, where are you located? Many TW members help each other out, or maybe someone will want to buy your truck if you decide to bail out on it.

Please review the Buy/Sell/Trade rules before posting anything about selling your truck. You must have at least 50 legitimate posts, or you'll get banned from the site for offering it up for sale.

You're seriously going to put $15k into a truck that's worth about $10k?

That would be a hard pass for me.
