    Yeah, I think you're right.

The same ones @pdaddy and @tweakit88 have on theirs now, Yokohama Geolander MTs. My Jeep neighbor has them too, for about a year now, and they look brand new almost!

They have excellent reviews from users all over the internet. It was between those and the Toyo Open Country MTs for me, but those weigh a ton, so I went with the Yokos. Not that the noise matters, but they are supposedly quiet as a mouse on the road. Maybe Matt or Preston can chime in.

matt loves his at the moment. But he changes tires like it’s going out of style, lol.

it’s one of the few descent tires I found in a 295/70r17

How would you rate your STT Pros after having them for a while? I ran the old-school Cooper STT pattern and they were great!

I have the st maxx. They are good on road and descent in the rocks, but pretty sub par when you add a little mud into the equation.

I am a big fan of what I have seen out of the STT pros though.

Oh ok, I thought you had the STT Pros. Seems to be a good tire!

The land cruiser I was working on has pros, maybe that’s what threw you off.

I’m also considering those for my next set though. Either stt pro or yoko mt. Only thing holding be back from just going with the pros is cost.

I know 295s are gonna cost more, but I got my 265s for right at $800 delivered to my door for the Yokos, from Matt at Discount Tire here. He also said that they are going to increase in price soon, hence I jumped on them before the price hike.

Yes they are E rated tires. Very light E rated tires at that. 51 lbs per tire. The Yokos I'm getting are 55lbs per tire, not too much heavier.

$295s aren’t too much more. I think it was $950 ish for 4. I’m going to get 5 and start doing a 5 tire rotation though, so it’ll be a bit more.

They're still on my truck, and I don't know when my new tires will come in, probably next week sometime. If you're interested in them, you can have em! I listed em up in the Southeast for sale section here.
