    does anyone know if the computer will hold the "check charging system" light like an error code that can be read by service dept?

    pull key fob battery and pull the negative terminal off on your battery to see if you can reset the ecu. See if that helps?

    When the Ignition is in the "On" position without the engine running you will get the Check Charging System indication.

    This. The message pops up every time ignition is switched to on. It happens in most cars, but it’s usually just a battery symbol/light that no one notices.

    i know that all of you crusties couldn't sleep without an update so here it is.....
    I've tried for 2 days to replicate the no start/ lockout fun that i had and it won't do it....so i guess I'll just lose faith in a brand new pickup and try to remember not to use the remote start when i'm away from home.....thanks for the support tw....you guys i can actually count on
