ayee thanks brotha, looks like itll be either the cooper at3s in 32x11.50x15, or the km3s since they both have the same dimensions. (cooper 32s are 661 revolutions per mile, km3s per that forum are 640)

Km3s are heavier, but will run better on current rims and i wont have to buy new ones. I'm balling on a budget ya got to remember that. Buying and building between applying to grad schools haha.

Its a bummer about new stuff. The only stuff that is reliably not locked behind NDAs and IP protection is open source. Getting most companies to contribute and open source their stuff is an uphill battle.

I've been thinking about getting the AT3s for the F350 as well.

There are many good tire choices right now. It's a good time to be a consumer. I'll probably pick whatever Cooper/Falken AT3 has the best deal going when I need those tires.

 

My only concern is 10.50 versus 11.50 with wear and welding the diff soon before getting the tires. If I rotate like every 2k miles, shouldn't be too bad right? Id be happy to get 30k out of the cooper ats if/when ya know? Just bugging bc u went thru similar experience, but bigger scale ( 12.50 wides on 7 in, welded diff DD)

if you use the chalk test and adjust your tire pressure to get as even wear as possible you should be OK but the centers will wear out more quickly with the wider tire because they will be more "ballooned". With D rated tires on the Tacoma I can run 20-25 psi to get closer to even wear. The amount of highway driving you do may dictate higher pressures to reduce sidewall fatigue issues
