the 2 pets thing is a real pain for me too. The collie mutt has serious travel anxiety and if I take her wheeling she spends the entirety of the time trying to crawl on my lap. My roommate doesn't really have interest in taking care of the dogs for money and I don't like dumping them in a boarding place.

That's a bummer I'd prefer a dog but thankfully with cats we can at least get away for 2 nights and they're self sufficient enough to still be alive when we get back. Have yet to try taking them camping cause 1 of the 2 inevitably barfs in transit

I remember one year as a kid, we took a family trip back to Missouri to see our relatives and we were gone for over a week.
