She's usually with me when I drive it and I'm way more careful when I drive other peep's vehicles. Shouldn't change the situatio.

(I mostly drive it when she's been drinking and I'm the DD - I'm sure that won't change - lol).

 

I'll post up shortly, but I already zip tied the lower center piece that holds the license plate back on. You can't see the crushed reinforcement.

Those areas are still salvageable.

 

I read on the drive that the Tacoma lost the brakes.
They would probably need ground anchors to pull it sideways, etc, another anchor to hold it from keeping rolling...

 

if you need a new OEM bumper bash plate that lives behind the plastic chin-bar. I got one you can use for a bit until you get your new steel bumper.

I have a blue and a black one removed from 2 trucks got a 16 grill too

 

I could use that "bash plate", as I crushed one side of mine.

Does the Grille have TSS by chance? @TeecoTaco 's grille is non-TSS.

Looks like a 4x2 PreRunner with lift spindles, so high center of gravity. Fuckin' powered sidesteps still worked.

Hood gap on the passenger side is concerning. Is the fender tweaked? Headlight pushed back (mounts broken)?

I don't understand the dragging. That's a lot of damage. There had to be a better solution.

 

I think the fender brace pushed the fender out. this in turn broke the headlamp tab (which I will epoxy back together once everything is pulled back to where it came from.

There are a hell of a lot of plastic tabs that were broken off. We'll see how many of those little pieces I have to replace (fog bezels, filler panels, lower centre panel). I just wanted a slimline bumper, so I would need an intact bumper cover.

once I get one, if anyone wants the old skin to cut up for a full steel bumper, it'll be available.

@daks and @pete37 i believe both run it. (i Have the SSO slimline hybrid) from the looks of things, it covers up the cracked bits of the lower bumper guard. Red scribbles to mark where you cracked yours, so little would actually show.

 

Good eye! I'd rather suck up the cost than blemish my perfect ins. rating. I have 4 vehicles insured that cost a small fortune as it is, even for an old fart like me...

 

I have black grille surround and TSS grille available for you if needed. Some other plastics also available for the front and crash bar. Message me, otherwise it’ll all be scrap
