I had a chance to go and read this and wanted to thank you for the link! I think the 75s will be a next year project... I am already getting pretty deep into the pockets as it is.

Were you by chance running 285/70 at all before these? If so, I assume no CMC was needed? Maybe the -12 are what I need...? I will have to keep reading!

I don't know anyone that still runs the diff drop on the 2nd gens. In fact I know more people that installed it and removed it since it was causing vibrations for them. Dunno if this is the same on the 3rd, but i'd assume it was.

You might need a sway bar relocation bracket if it makes contact with your coilover. Icon makes one if you need it. This is something you can do yourself though- a shop isn't necessary for this. Even with the lack on mechanical knowledge. Its 4 small bolts.

If you only plan on 33s or below- don't pound your pinch weld you wont rub that since you will bottom out on your bump stops before the tire pushes that far into the wheel well. In fact if you did this incorrectly or too aggressively you might open that weld up and considering your skills fixing that wouldn't be in your wheelhouse...

CMC might be needed though, you will be able to tell very quickly when your new tires are installed. They will rub against the Cab Mount when turning your tires. If your alignment is good and they rub in that location you'll need to do the CMC or live with the rub.
