Cali Raised or Tacoma Beast Pods

Hey everyone, I have some TacomaBeast pods installed with the pod brackets since my Tacoma didn't come with factory fog lights, but the paint is peeling and looks ugly on top of the condensation they're getting. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Diode Dynamics pods fit the TacomaBeast brackets. Thanks!

Gross.

So to answer your question... No. The DD fog lights will not fit those Beast Brackets. If I were in your situation right now and wanted to change to Diode Dynamics (solid choice) here's what I would do:

Post up a Want to Buy "WTB" thread or look around for someone on the forums who installed a full aftermarket bumper onto their truck. What you are looking for are the OEM fog light bezels. They'll snap into the openings that you currently have, and have an opening for a OEM light. This may even be the kind of part you will find in the FREE STUFF thread . I've never personally been looking for this part, but for many it's a throwaway.

Purchase the 2012+ Tacoma kit for your truck.

You'll need to add on a light duty wiring harness to complete your wiring since you don't have OEM wiring. That or you can complete your own wiring.

OR, if you want to stick with those black face plates I would recommend looking at something like the Rigid Industries D2 Pro lights. That what all of the knock-off square pods are based off of.

Those were the exact ones I was looking at. I like the amber colored ones and been looking up videos of how they look off/on road.. but didn't see anyone mention if the TB brackets would fit.. I'll def be making those my next purchase..

If you think that you want to keep the TB brackets take a bunch of pictures of the back of them. The DD lights might "go", but it won't be a clean install.

I'm going to check your store out now. Do you have the whole kit in stock? I'll prob go with that instead of messing with it. Just my luck I'll mess it all up lol. I'm already frustrated with the TB pods and I've had them in over a year or so.

I have almost everything you need in stock! You won't be able to add the harness from the store though as I haven't got it listed yet! If you just order the Tacoma kit there I can add it as an invoice adjustment later though.

The only thing you'll have to source on your own will be that bezel piece to replace the Beast plate.

New OEM bezels can be sourced off ebay for about $30/set shipped. You could certainly find them cheaper second hand, but there is something to be said for low effort as well. I helped another member with the same issue recently.

Thanks for the info.. I've learned through out my years that some things you need to save just in case. This was one of those times! Haha I found my oem bezels. Just had to clean them off! Thanks again!
