True, that was my concern too much of one color. Pretty dope setup. Wheels 3lb lighter and tires are 3.5 pounds lighter should give me a little more Getty up back too haha.

Thankfully my truck has the tow package. I’m pretty confident with everything about the process, right now my only worry is filling up the dry trans once it’s on, I don’t wanna grenade it lol I know you fill the torque converter halfway to the brim, and obviously fill the trans through the fill plug until it trickles out the overflow plug at a certain temp but the capacity is around 12 quarts. How do I get it all in there? I assume I turn it on for a bit, let the pump run the fluid through, turn off, refill, run the engine again, repeat till it’s full

I fill the torque converters up to the point when installing them they'll dump a little out that way it's not empty at first start up. Also your transmission is probably not going to be dry unless you got a brand new one. It'll probably have fluid in it sans what they drained out of the pan and potentially the torque converter so it should have about 4 qrts or so left in it.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner

This is where I’m at right now. Had a ‘dry’ trans from a yard. It took 7qts in the full plug before flowing out. About to do the temp oil level check. Have a couple trans codes I’m hoping to clear out and resolve. P0748 and P0778.

I like the concept for the shock relocation, but I can’t help notice that the hoop that the shock bolt goes through just seems very thin in terms of material area. My truck is built for the go fast stuff, but I would be curious to see how those hoops are in the faster, more aggressive driver.

maybe it’s just me, but this might need more reinforcement in some key areas unless these have been heavily tested before being created.

Not sure man how it would be for fast driving. My truck is built for slow eastern rock crawling and broverlanding lol.

It's 3/16" plate for the top plates and axle tabs, which area do you think needs more reinforcing?

We've run these pretty hard without breaking anything, but I'm always open to ideas for making them stronger and better.

You'll need to trim the extra length off the shock bolt before you install these, or cut a hole in the bed for the bolt to go though, since you're planning to weld them on.

I spun it and there’s fluid in the TC. Makes me feel a better. Really wish they had dipsticks

You'll be able to get it out, getting it back in is going to be a trick of carefully balancing the nut in the mouth of an open ended wrench and feeding the shock and Bolt back in. I've done it a couple times, but there is some cussing and you need about 4 hands to do it, especially with the loose spacers that King uses.
