I need the moles to die to see if I have any grass to mow, they tearing the front yard up. It’s like walking on a sponge.

Ugh... one thing I don’t have.... I have clover and rabbits.... but I’m ok with this. May treat the front yard this year

I’d take clover and rabbits over crabgrass and moles :D

I had Voles. A little different than Moles. Basically a type of field mouse. They don't really burrow like Moles, but cut trails close to the surface. They dig under plants and eat the roots. I have lots of flowers in the spring and summer. So those roots are easy targets.

The smoke bomb sticks worked for me. Several applications.....but they worked

If I have time I squish the tracks back down and see the which ones come back up. Then I get a soda and a chair and sit and relax.
Then with I see the track start to bump up again I give them the ol pitch fork...

I've been wanting myself one. 5c works but I've got more er32 collets than 5c and they're better at holding incorrect sizes:anonymous:

I’ve got to grind an end mill tomorrow that’ll cut 1.303” deep in steel with a .0625” radius on it. I don’t know that I can see good enough to do that

I’ll probably use a 2 flute carbide, maybe.

    CNC?

Do you have capabilities to do 3d contours? A roughing and ball endmill would make it work. Or is it a slot?

It’s a rectangular pocket. Could possibly do a 3D contour but I never have and don’t want to try on this part

    This just happened.

Wife to daughter: you know you can’t keep on with horseback lessons if you don’t stop biting your nails.

    Daughter: I stopped biting them.

    Wife: when did you stop?

    Daughter: lastnight

my 7 yo was biting his nails at night while trying to get to sleep, my wife bought some bitter clear nail polish made for breaking the habit and it worked.
I’ll never forget the 1st night we put it on him. About an hour after he went to bed, I heard some coughing/borderline heaving. I went in to check on him and asked him if he was ok, he nodded yes. Then I asked him if he tried biting his nails, and he shook his head no. (I knew he was lying, but by this point I was just trying to not laugh) so I said, why don’t you have some water, to which he replied “That only makes it worse!” Then he fessed up to being curious and said it was the worst stuff he’d ever tasted!:rofl:
