Most peeps don't understand the importance of cleaning the throttle body. Nice Job. Any modern vehicle runs like crap until this is done. If it has the mileage on it! Nice Job!

Thanks man I'd been meaning to do it for a while but I just never got around to it. I'm at 144k and it was definitely dirty. The rags I used were black when I was done. So yeah I agree very important. I'll probably add some fuel system cleaner next time I fill up and see if it adds any improvement it's already idling a lot better. I also noticed my air box filter is dirty so I'll probably switch that when I do my next oil change at 145 lol.

This is why I love these trucks. Take them out proper off-roading one day. Then load it full of camping shit (fridge/awning/etc) and kayaks and go spend a few days in the warm desert sun fucking around. Haul a trailer across the country. Load the back with shit to haul to the dump. All of it.

    Lake Powell here we come!

This is a part of why I don’t have a roof top tent. That and the wife saying she doesn’t want to crawl down a ladder to pee at night

Also a good way to break in my new Deaver Stage III leafs

Yeah, I am.aware of these things. I do have some SPC Uppers that I have not installed as well as the body mount chop. Perhaps the tires will be my motivation to install them.

I am already feeling a difference in getting the beast rolling as I do have a six speed and can feel the difference in the way I let off the clutch.

In short, I should have gone down the middle, but I do not regret my decision....yet!

glove.jpg console.jpg Installed the second additions to my 08 today. OCD glove box and console organizers. I've already come to accept that the change in the tray will be all that's left in my account when I get done with this ever growing wish list...lol.

Cross threaded the top shock nut on my truck today. Called BAMF and Jerry knew the thread pitch and length of what i needed. Truck is 95% done. I just need the driver rear shock back on, and it will be 100%

Used some 3M Emblem Adhesive on mine... Dremeled off the tabs from the back of the logo and the adhesive has held up the past 5 or 6 years with no issues.

I’m going through that right now with fitting my 34s haha. Had to get @GHOST SHIP to chop my cab mounts even more and it still rubs a tiny bit on reverse in full lock leaving my driveway. Have to get smaller spacers now to get rid of it completely but I’m committed lol. Also got née rotors and pads to help braking with all the weight I added. Gotta say it feels niceeee.

"Proof of concept" tonneau cover. $180 shipped after finding an Amazon gc. If we end up using the space and truck more I'll upgrade to something lockable and deal with the tailgate.

On the totaled 2012 Baja Series I got the spring perch and the spliced frame put together yesterday, and I jacked up the truck on stands so I could make sure the drive shaft was still straight. When I first saw it come out on a forklift and the driveshaft was swinging in the wind it gave me pause. But with the rear wheels in the air I took the speedometer up to eighty and there was no vibration, so I'm pretty confident that it'll be fine.

Got the black 12 volt sleeve and cap on, it turned out to be more of a chore than I anticipated due to fitment issues lol.

    Screenshot_20210304-190339_Gallery.jpg

I had to shave down some of the outside parts of the well.

    20210304_153527.jpg

After that, fit great looks great. OCD appeased.

    20210304_183242.jpg

Also broke the sub level switch mount in the process so I rerouted it to the armrest.
