With stock coils you can get up to a 2 inch lift up front with the 5100s. I have mine set to the 4th notch for a 1.5 inch lift and am running 275s. But thinking of moving up a notch to get a full 2 inches up front. I can’t speak to the 6112 setup.

I thought the 6112 had more height settings.

I hear different stuff. I watch this video and it says it only has 4 notches. And it goes from, stock 1", 2", 2.5". I was wanting 2.5 but I was also told by several companies that its not advisable to put it on the top notch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOCtx6mM-u8
    Start at .58 seconds.

The ones for the Tacoma only go up to 2in. Other ones for different cars can go up to 2.5 depending on the application

Anyone on here running 275/70 with 885, Headstrong 2.5 coils, and AAL? I got that set up but running 285/75/17

Sounds odd but I’m considering downsizing to 275/70 due to the fact I live on a 1.25 dirt road and I’m tired of my tires slinging stuff up due to the tires sticking out a tad.

Im worried my tires will look tiny though!

Anyone running that setup with 275/70s?

Have you ever thought of mud flaps.

That may also be the old 5100s that had a different notch setup. The ones made specifically for 3rd gen Tacomas go up to 2 inches in the front.

Thought of it, yes. Backs I could reinstall but the front wouldn’t work with the cutting I had to do to fit the 285s!

Gotcha! I know most people remove them but I don't want shit flying up the side of the truck onto my paint. That's not okay with me.

This is identical to what i'm about to pull the trigger on. Have you notice any rub on the cab mount? I've heard cruise control can be basically useless after a certain size... does yours still function correctly?
Have you had a chance to take it on a trail or at least play around with it more than on flat pavement yet?

With SPC UCAs no rub on anything but plastic and the was easily resolved by removing mudflaps and using a heat gun. Been on deeply rutted forestry roads and through 8+ inches of snow and ice plenty of times since and have had no issues.

I have steel skids + sliders and a cap + decked set up in back, so I'm pretty heavy and likely sit on the lower end for the OME setup (887s up front, HD Dakars in back).

That sucks that 32s wont fit without trimming or removing mudflaps and possibly needing UCA.

The do on a 7” wide Toyota 4Runner SEMA wheel. No problems, no rubbing, no trimming, stock UCAs.

Yeah, but on on a 7in rim. That’s a tiny rim. Most aftermarket at 8in and mostly 8.5. Makes me almost want to stick to my 7.5in wide sport rims and just spray paint them

The 7" wheel is part of the reason they fit so well. Why do you want a wider wheel?

IMO I think it looks better with a wider wheel. Skinny tires have never looked good to me. For example I have 8in rims on my nova and they look okay on a car to me. So, on the truck that’s a tiny rim. At 7.5 my stock rims are okay but only since it’s not leveled or lifted at this point.. all of this is just my opinion on looks

Opinions are everyone's, to each their own, however a wider wheel will make no difference in tire width. A 275/70 is a 275/70. If wide tires are what you want, maybe a 275 isn't what you should be trying to fit?
