Received my TRD Pro aftermarket grill, remote start kit and a Bug Deflector today. Forgot to order the garnish radar cover. Should have in time for Saturday. Can’t wait. :yay:

Driveshaft disconnect to be flat towed behind our RV.
Finished repurposing a yakima hitch mount bike rack onto voodoo fabrications cross bars.
We pull our Tacoma behind our RV so I didn't like having hitch mounted bikes hanging off the back of our tow vehicle (making it even longer) and partially covering it's taillights.

Be patient my friend. Will get pics in the AM. Currently loaded with a ton of random stuff headed to Goodwill.

long story short - traded vehicles with my GF today cause she had to see a client and was getting tires installed in her SUV. I was headed down I-10 and had to slow down for traffic ahead. The guy behind me stated he looked down for a second but then looked up and saw traffic was almost stopped. He was doing at least 70. He swerved to the median where there a big concrete barrier, clips it then the passenger rear bumper hits the driver rear bumper of her suv. Soon he ends up flipping his truck on the roof for some distance. I saw all this in the rear view in slow motion. Once it came to a halt I jumped out and helped him get out and get to safety. What a day. He had a T-100. He was able to walk away but was transported via ambulance to get checked out since he said he hit his head. Glad no one was hurt, vehicles can be replaced

How long did it take you and how long do you think it would take someone who has literally no idea what they’re doing?

Should take no more than an hour. So follow my rule of thumb and allow 4 hours. If they didn’t give you the instructions (with pictures!) find them online. They walk you thru it perfectly. And by allowing plenty of time, you have time to double-check things, look it up on YouTube, and crack a beer (or three).

That definitely looks good. Unfortunately I’d need more of a step by before feeling confident enough to start de stitching. My luck it would end up in the un finished project pile

I did several things for my truck today.

    1. Installed a cover over the middle console arm.

    20210304_102122.jpg

    2. Wiped down the interior and cleaned off a good bit of dust and dirt that's been accumulating.

    3. A few weeks ago, I noticed a consistent squeaking sound coming from the rear passenger side while driving the down the road (rough and smooth roads alike). First thought was that it was something in the suspension. But I've also got tube steps and grill guard on the front. I re-tightened the bolts on the tube steps (both passenger and driver side) and grill guard. Drove around for about 30 minutes, and the squeaking was gone. I'm guessing the tube steps being re-tightened fixed this.

    4. And I got my license plate light disable in reverse mod installed. Write up here (with pics):

License plate light Disable while In Reverse (DIR)

    Edit:

    5. Got my underseat storage from @nola_jim put in:

If you mod a meso mod, does meso finally get his angel wings?

Hacked up a 3rd tail for 2nd gens and attached it to the back of my bestop with some snaps. Gotta match the 3rd brake light on the cab when the top is down, right? As well as the forthcoming brake lights I've been working on for last year or so...

It’s easy... hardest part is the little clip in the tailgate. Watch the YouTube videos. Don’t underestimate yourself.

    Check build thread!
Carhartt seat covers. Gravel covered. They seem to cover the majority of the seats and seem to be thick enough and tough enough to take a beating. I didn't go with Clazzios or anything fancy because I wanted rugged, easy to clean, and something that i could throw in the wash.
