I know man :/ there's delays i feel across all industries everywhere. I'm curious to see what my lead time would be if I did custom length for my LT that would be pretty rad

No added benefit to them at a custom length I talked with Harry about this.

Oh it won't take the time that the billies did but they are the ones JD works with you could probably get Fox, Radflo, ADS quicker but you'll have to figure out the hoses and fittings to make them work with the kit.

Look through distribution and you'll have much better luck. Fox doesn't sell to the general public.

    Kartek, Accutune, 4WP, ORW, etc.

Also bought the chase rack from sdhq and all accessories like maxtrax a pro eagle jack and straps all I need now are the actual wheels and tires  also since I’m doing this I’m thinking about changing out my wheels to something that has more of a negative offset and true beadlocks

Baja kits are only +2”. In my opinion, they aren’t really worth paying almost as much $ for less travel and performance.
The flip side being if you are wanting to keep stock fenders or are wanting to keep the width down due to regulations, daily driving, tight trails, etc.. you could also look at Total Chaos +2” kit.
But that doesn’t seem the case since you also mention new wheels with increased negative offset.

edit: looks like your profile picture has fiberglass already? Might as well get a “real” long travel kit

So I dd the truck just to and from work and seldom take the mrs mustang so I want the wider without taking away from the dd and also take it on trips but also doing mind taking the off-road path every now and again. I know it does suck that the price on the kit is right there with the wider track with arms but like I do also plan on doing a spring under set up with all the goodies there too just so I have the option if I wanna full fuckin send it I can send it haha

I say not soon but considering in the future swapping my standard length/bypass setup for an LT setup. The common is go 3.5 or don't bother. What are scenarios would +2 make sense over 3.5 as that seems to be the 99% or don't bother responding. I had considered a +2 and with the current wheel, the setup would put me pretty much at 3.5 widths with the different wheel.

My current setup has most of the stuff done to support LT already or will be soon enough whether I do it or not and already doing the same maintenance so none of that is an issue.

I was set on a +2 setup but it's a bit of why not just go 3.5. I tend to have a mix of driving I do and some consideration for tight spots needs to be had. a quick search didn't see a thread but if there's one point me to it and ill check it out.

I think were on the same train of though @nudavinci64 ?

the way I see it is the slight and most of the time marginal advantage of a smaller kit doesn’t outweigh the performance loss they also incur when compared to a longer kit.

I daily drive a +3.5” kit with spindles +.75” and 0 offset wheels, have never had a problem.
Sometime it takes a little more caution and 3-point turns to get into parking spots when downtown, but it’s worth it when I beat the BMW to snag the last one by cruising at 40 over the speed bumps and curbs

ha damn BMW's. I am already used to the shit parking on the standard length race setup. not sure it could get to much worse. running -38 right now so if I went 3.5 that would have to go. That shit would be super wide on 3.5

I dd my truck with a 3.5 kit and it doesn’t bother me at all going spring under as soon as dmz is ready he said about 2 weeks. The only reason I see doing a +2 would be if the trails you drive are narrow. I haven’t had any problems with my 3.5 kit on any trails I’ve been on yet

yah that was likely the main reason I was considering the +2 setup. I sometimes get to some tight spots. If I go +2 but swap my wheels it may only be only 2-3 inches at most wider. I think the truck now is at 81-82" wide.
