Remote start that stays running when door is opened (for PTS Tacomas) Second choice would be manual shift transfer case, But it is far less of a concern than the "proper" remote start.

Push the stop/start button without your foot on the brake. Dumps the vehicle into ACC mode without cycling the system.

While the engine is running, put in neutral, set the parking brake, hit stop/start button once.

I will keep it simple, I wish that no matter what radio screen was on it would show my phone service connection and Gaia had more information when using it.

Living where cell service goes in and out it by each mile, it would be nice to see all the time

I'm assuming this means stuff I can't easily change myself, so wheels/tires and the like are out. Already got mine paid off (19 months early) and got Clazzios and other cosmetic mods so don't need that either. So I'm going to go with transmission. A V8 would be neat but just improving the transmission would result in better power delivery.

I would change the engine to a longstroke V6 w/310 hp, Boxed Frame, spin on oil filter, 4 wheel disc, better gearing with 9 spd auto, no wait, I can get one at Nissan dealer in June! I might.

Solid front axle with a locker and the power seats they didn’t put into my 2019. It would also be nice if they offered the off road in an actual Off Road ready configuration, ie, Lift, tires, front locker, etc...

Swing rear doors on the extra cab. Makes a huge difference getting stuff in and out.

Would be nice to be able to change the display for metric users.

For ex/ the map is in weird zoom increments (1.6km; 800m, 400m etc) because it's set to imperial (1mi, 1/2mi etc.) and the fuel efficiency tracker is impossible to read. We use L/100km instead of MPG so it works in reverse in that lower is better; the graph data is all squished way down to the bottom since the axes aren't scaled for metric.

Also wish I could update things like map data, gracenotes etc without having to pay dealerships to literally put in an SD card and upload it, I could do that if they just released the damn data!

Thanks. I have no idea why Toyota would make something that complicated.

    This I will try! Thanks.

Still have an Xrunner option, or at least a true limited slip differential.

You can change MPG to L per 100km in your settings. Can also change miles to km in your map settings.

I have L per 100km and km in my maps.

A non howling differential, a hood that was built with quality and doesn’t flutter on the highway and more torque.

A truck that doesn’t appeal to hipsters that think they want a truck but actually want a minivan/luxury car?

Have not read the rest of this thread.

I'm not sure--the radar mode in the cruise control is probably first on the list. But I would also prefer the old fashioned 4wd levers and manual hubs instead of the unreliable system we have now.

What makes it unreliable? I do sometimes wonder why people buy new trucks to complain about such things when there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of trucks waiting to be had in the used market with manual hubs, levered transfer case, that have a better chance of surviving a solar flare or emp attack.
