Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

I see it's getting colder just in time for the weekend.

on a vaccine note. Mom & Dad are getting their shots finally on Thursday. They're so far beyond 75, shouldn't have taken this long.
I stayed up (who'm i kidding - was still up) until midnight sunday to get my Vams acct so I could register. Started refreshing the screen around 11:45pm & about 11:50 the screen changed to 55+ & I signed up. Got a reply i'd get email to complete my acct in 24 - 48 hours. So started fighting the CVS website to no good luck. about 12:05 I got the email with details to complete my Vams acct. Got'er done & scheduled the first open appt for wed 10th march. There seems to be a super vaccine center at the danbury mall. I'm guessing in the old Sears? Another friend got'er done about 25 minutes after me got a first open for the 13th March. So stay up was the right choice, stayed ahead of the sign-up tidal wave.

Good luck to those of you not so fortunate in the sign-up process. This new J&J influx should help out.

Easy for me to say to others be patient and persistent, but stay on it and have a plan for sign-up. You're doing it not only for yourself but to keep your family and friends safe.

I’m terrified that people are excited to get the “vaccine” and call it what it is. An experimental biological chemical it’s not a vaccine. Please everyone do research before you get this stuck in your arm because there is no going back.

And replace my broken storm door. I had no idea how expensive they are now.

Hey @lynyrd3 , I saw your trail cam thread and was briefly perusing through it. Awesome stuff!

I got my wife two trail cams this past June for her birthday. Shes an animal person, so she wanted them to see what critters we have in our woods. I still have to upload it, but we got a shot of a bobcat a while back. Lots of deer, and plenty of shots of our dogs grazing the woods. Once I get it on a computer, Ill post up any worthy ones.

Let me know if you find any nice storm doors that latch in more than 1 spot (the handle).
I only ever once saw a storm door that had a top & bottom pin that activated with the lock, made a good tight seal when shut & locked.
Most rely on "mouse fur" to keep wind out, but that stuff only holds up about 5 years, then lots of air leaks. PIA to find the right strip of mouse fur to replace the worn out stuff. What do you even call mouse fur insulation? LOL. (Same issue with lots of modern windows.)
