I’m doing front and rear tubs right after my first tuning hit at Barstow main next weekend. Just wanna see my major contact points during some real world cycling.
I’m not sure if I wanna make em out of just some 14g cold rolled or 6061 aluminum....oooorrrr bling it out with some 4130 or 321 since I already have a couple sheets of both anyway.

    +2 kits are retarded.

The only people they make sense for are people that rock crawl track width limited trails.....
And there's only a hand full of trails in the west where a +2 will fit and a +3.5 won't.

ha kind of how I was thinking. Some of the Colorado trails can be a bit tight but seems like my current width is not far off from a setup already.

I was one of their first buyers of the kit on here, put in on my truck, but then put money into the older truck and I sold it to @LTDSC and he sold it for a TC 3.5 kit after awhile.

I really had no problems or issues with the kit. I wanted more alignment spec out of caster. But my buddy runs my old kit now and it does him just fine. JT at BK sucks. They took a big hit when Bruno left from a customer service standpoint.

+3.5” kit, -38mm wheels, 37x12.5 tires. Go big or go home. Pushing 90” wide. Hoping the tundra rear axle will get the rear width closer to the front.

The only reason I guess am going with the 2” bk kit is cause the misses bought it for me as a early birthday present and think I’m gonna run it for a bit to make her happy then sell it and go up to jd arms. She told me yesterday as a surprised and they already shipped the kit and coil overs and will be here today :boom: but it sounds like the kits not bad for the time being but definitely will be upgrading In the future

unless you really want to go 3.5 youll be fine. I got used to my 5 degree caster with my stock length TC arms so when i could only get 3 max from my BK kit it felt funky. my buddy doesnt notice at all so its just personal preference. They also may have changed it a little since the kit i got from @Dalandser was one of the OG kits.

Yeah, I'll see how it goes. I feel like for the most part LT kits hold their value price wise so if i do upgrade to a 4" kit ill get something out of these arms ! But oh gotcha well only one way to find out is to try  appreciate the insight

they definitely hold value. @Dalandser gave me a good deal and i passed it on to my friend, which i turned around and got lucky and bought this 3.5 race kit for the same price. :anonymous:

indeed. I am in the same boat for a +2 standard TC kit for my oem length setup. I would prefer the expo/race +2 or had me thinking why not just go 3.5". Axles do not match but should work since they are complete (they are off an FJ). do the trade or wait and get the expo/race or all in on 3.5.

Haha yeah. I’m all for you big or stay stock width, but I’m sure I’ll be having the good ole +2 debate with myself this year or next when it comes time to build the wife’s 4Runner up a little bit. For hers I’m leaning towards the +2 and throwing wheels that suck it back to almost stock width. Keeping her on 33’s and a sleeper

Yeah that'll look nice for sure ! I'm thinking +2 for now and wanting to get wheels with a deeper offset cause im at +1 with mine currently and want to go to beadlocks probably black rhino primm beadlocks and they have a -38 offset so thatll be a huge change and widen the truck out a bit
