It’s easy... hardest part is the little clip in the tailgate. Watch the YouTube videos. Don’t underestimate yourself.

    Check build thread!
Carhartt seat covers. Gravel covered. They seem to cover the majority of the seats and seem to be thick enough and tough enough to take a beating. I didn't go with Clazzios or anything fancy because I wanted rugged, easy to clean, and something that i could throw in the wash.

I have had mine in the truck for over a year. It has stayed put in summer temps and sub-zero temps. No worries.

    My Mom > your Mom.

A taco pillow for my truck. My Mom has been making these small pillows and mailing them to myself, my sisters and my fellow service members since the 1st Gulf War. So I requested one with tacos and since I'm her favorite son; I got two!

That is a nice battery but I think it needs a little bling.

Ahh... I don’t have anything but the final product pics. It’s not complicated though. The center console is held in with clips and can be pulled straight out. Redline Goods has a good write up on removing/reinstalling.

The transmission boot is glued to a plastic ring at its base, not hard to separate. The e-brake boot has a wire ring to hold it in place at its base but the fabric is just wrapped and stitched around it, no glue. Use a seam ripper to pull the seams out of each piece and lay them flat, these will be your templates. Once you've traced the pattern and cut your new fabric you can stitch them up, again using the original boots as a guide.

If you have a simple fabric pattern and are handy with a sewing machine you can 100% do this yourself. I do this on pretty much all my vehicles because its stupid and it amuses me. I will note though, because of the complex pattern on this fabric I took it to an auto upholsterer to make sure the pattern flowed across the stitches. So you can go that route too, or probably even a tailor/seamstress.

I had posted a pic I think yesterday here showing the suction cup tool that I used to remove the glass. Certainly a bit overkill( I had it for removing the glass face on a Mac All-in-One) but I was being very cautious about pulling the mirrors. I 1st took the backside of the mirror housing off and sprayed the clips with WD-40. Once I got one clip to release the other three let go easier. Someone earlier suggested doing it on a warm day, I concur with that suggestion.

Finally got off my lazy butt and rewired my softopper 3rd brake disconnect. Its only been bothering me for the last 4 years or so. :cookiemonster:

Maybe in another 4 years I'll clean up the softopper side of the wiring.
