Ya, I tried, but since he has shown out of stock for a while, and no return message, I hoped he was still in the knob business.

Oh...Gotcha..... I assumed he would still have them in stock, I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Yeah, hopefully he’s still in business. Great product

I’ll have to watch the website for 2020-2021 knobs in stock.

Just ordered a set of the smaller diameter ones for my 2021. Can’t wait to get them. The factory knob is small and feels so cheap.

How easy was it to drill out the holes? Did you use a template for the hole pattern?

Not too hard if you have the equipment that I have access to. (I’m a Tool and Die Maker/Machinist) A template is a good plan if you don’t have access to a mill, but I used a mill in our shop. On a mill, I milled a piece of nylon with a hole small enough to squeeze the knob without collapsing it for a holding fixture. Then, I set it up and drilled a bolt hole pattern of 8 holes (I can’t remember the diameter of the bolt hole pattern, but I can measure it out and share) with a 1mm drill.

You want to do another set? Lol
Sounds like you have the tools and knowledge. I’m sure I would screw them up trying it myself.

Not nearly as sexy, but for $1.35 you can nab a few #16 o rings from the hardware store. They stretch perfectly around the knobs, stay put, give great grip on the knob, better precision, and all that fun stuff. Again, not as clean, but hard to beat for the price and convenience, even just for temp solution til these are back in stock.

Hey @Tacowiede, one of my knobs is separating from its base. It happened a few times, and I just tighten them back together. Not a huge deal, just wondering what can I use to prevent it from separating , and make it a permanent fix.

I don’t have these, but if it’s unscrewing I’d try loctite. If you don’t have loctite some clear nail polish on threads usually works too. If these are press fit either would probably still work.

Thanks for your input. Yes, they are threaded. Unless @Tacowiede has a better idea, I'll slap some thread locker on them.

I used SIZE 8.5-9 or (18.9mm) and is a tight fit to stretch but once they are on they are less likely to fall off (mine never have in 1 year)
I think you can search “silicone wedding bands” either on Amazon or eBay and find some cheap options for less than $10. Probably could even split with friends and do 3 trucks for $10

These are back in stock. Of course just after I got the Hondo's. I really wanted to get these but they were out of stock forever. Love the Hondo's tho :hattip:
