Hmmm, I thought about thinning with varsol or something but was worried about it not being volatile enough and getting drippy. Time to dig up a SDS on the aerosol cans to see what solvent they are using. Probably something unfortunate like butane is my guess.

The problem is the wire cable, creates snags and rough area's that can damage and destroy your new synthetic rope.

You should never use anything that was used with a steel cable, on a synthetic rope.

Fairlead and winch spool should be changed.

This is what I put on my winch.

What if the winch was only used on our winter exploration event?
The main reason for doing this is I dont like the look of the roller fairlead.

I dont know much about winches, but could they be wet sanded with 3000 grit to take out any rough spots?

    @TacooSaucee @jordi992

I am just repeating what I have read and been told.

You can do what ever you want, just wipe it all down with vasoline and call it a fun time. :notsure:

Id say if you sand that bitch smooth, and really inspect it. That would be good.

Anyone else get some pain in their knees driving their 3rd gen? I sometimes struggle to get comfy in it.

I will do some more research. I was also wondering if I should trust this cheap ish rope, or buy a brand name one.

Yea I went cheap brand name 'Ranger'

    :notsure:

If it breaks it generally is not going to hurt anyone, unlike a wire cable.

Try the cheap one see if it works.

There are 2-3 people selling spacer kits to increase the rake of the seat. You can of course DIY with some material and longer bolts.

The spacers are for the front mounting points only, so your head stays at roughly the same height, but the extra incline angle takes some weight off your legs.

Good to know as I got 9.1 the other day, hand calculated. Stock everything, and slightly lighter than stock snow tires.
