Alright, so night riding with fast guys is great. Chasing one while another is pushing, I believe I like riding like that, in the middle, no pun intended

The guy behind me was right on my rear wheel and as we used different lines his front wheel was right beside my rear. That’s kind of exhilarating.

Depends though, if they’re too fast, it doesn’t benefit you because you can’t keep up at all and not being able to see them does nothing for you. All you guys at pisgah were way too far ahead of me lol

my local riding buddy is just a bit faster than me but more confident so following him is perfect for me right now. Definitely pushes me.

Easy spot to go in the area you're looking for is Klondike Bluffs rd. Go toward the trailhead, if you don't find anything yet, go right before the end. Follow the road, you'll find something.

Yep, damper fluid change is what's included in the full service. Also replace the wiper seals, foam rings, o-rings on legs, and sometimes clean/lube upper dials.
If you go somewhere that knows what they are doing, you can also request a shim adjustment to help further dial in your fork. That's especially useful if you find yourself at the ends of your dials when you tune your suspension.
One day I'm going to learn to do all that, but for now I trust the pros.

 

yea she makes good money, and I'm handy, so I help her with fixing/building/moving/handy stuff, and she often covers me when we hang out and get food, and sometimes just picks up something for me, since its an easy, and highly appreciated way of showing her gratitude. We have a good relationship.

Yeah its always like that. "winter" doesn't exist here so everything continues to grow. People cut them when they become too much of nuisance
