I currently have 8 sets total getting sandblasted for upcoming orders. So far, 4 of my 8 upcoming sets are sold. Just an FYI, I advertise on Facebook/Instagram as well, so they're going fast.

Just got my batch of spindles back from sandblasting! :bananadance: Going to start knocking out orders today, starting with the Total Chaos orders. I'm still currently waiting on JDFAB kits to come in. I will update everyone as your parts come in to so you know when to expect them to ship out. Thank you all for being patient!

A local off road shop welded up my spindles and I've been on 255/85R16 with about 1/2" between tire and spindle. If the tires were switched out to a 285 or 315 the fear is that the tires would interfere with the modified spindles. Total Chaos was able to fit 315s with clearance on their project Rusty, so I contacted them. After sending a few photos they concluded the gussets were installed incorrectly. ARGH!

This is most likely a dumb question, but have you checked tire clearance with your gusseted spindles?

that’s unfortunate to hear. That’s what made me start this. I had too many friends try doing it themselves or hear about shops doing it wrong for other people. Can you send me pics so I can see what’s wrong with them?

I don’t have fitment issues with my spindles. I do know that factory backspacing will not work with them. Usually people upgrade to a different wheel tire combo. DM me and let’s see if I can get you fixed. So far, I have fixed five different sets of spindles that other people have done.

JDFAB is now offering these steering extensions for their double shear kits in three sizes.
    • Stock length
    • 2.25”
    • 4”
The 2.25 will work with any 2.5” LT kit and the 4” will work with a 3.5” LT kit.

So basically no matter what kit you have you can run the double shear kit to your factory inner tie rods.

For those that are running large 35" tires and are active offroaders, there is a potential to snap your outer tie rods. Here locally, I've had a couple of friends get stuck on a trail after breaking theirs. This upgrade to a heim joint and reinforcing it with the double shear tabs strengthens that whole area.
