I am debating on putting them on my truck. do you know how old and how used they are?

 

1 to 2 inches. enough to do donuts in the parking lot.

 

I pulled them from a 90's 1500. I had them for a couple years at most. I was going to put them on the 4Runner but I already had OME's all around.

 

Would you go 1500 leafs again or rather something from a 3/4ton?

 

With a bed cap and custom rear bumper 1500 springs we perfect. The Billies liked the extra weight. I've had the rear loaded with top soil and it never bottomed out.

 

I think the only thing I would do different would be a french cut rear hanger. The Chebys raked a bit.

 

They make julienned leaf springs?

Definitely going to settle for good enough. This needs to be finished so I can get to the important mechanical issues. Like swapping the steering rack out. Then the lack of a bumper still haunts me.
