Anyone in the market for a 3rd gen DCLB camper shell? Have one for sale in northern IL. LEER 100R. Used it for camping all the time, just going a different direction with it. PM in interested.

I just today picked up my new 100R from the dealer and all early indications are that it is fantastic....if anyone is looking for a shell/cap/canopy/grandpa-box, i would heartily recommend the 100R.....

What's your camper shell loadout look like since you don't tent camp? I have a short bed with a shell and don't plan to sleep in it except for emergency type weather scenarios. Do you have drawers or slide outs? I'm trying to get some inspiration.

 

I went with something as simple as possible. I cut some 2x6 to fit in the slots that are already built into the sides of the bed and cut 2 pieces of 3/4" ply to fit on top of them. Underneath I just have some long flat bins from target, one with recovery gear and one with cooking gear. That's it! I think I am going to finally do a drawer system in the next few weeks though since it would be nice to not have to reach up and grab the bins every time. Will snag some pics later for you.

Got our first night trying out the new setup. All in all it worked great.

 

What kind of set-up/brand of topper do you have? Looks nice

 

It’s an ARE 26-32 wedge. I insulated, carpeted and added the windows myself.
