Interesting. I have not seen anything posted around here? Could have missed it though. I think I read one person that goofed up and meso sent him the actuating parts.

Mine has been great. Used daily. I was wondering a bit about the benefit in my pocket, but it is definitely nicer there also.

I've been lusty for a flip fob since VW / Audi started using them. Been just a little while pining away. :D

I would change the 4 wheel drive from dash switch to lever and linkage!

Yeah - I would like a flip fob. VW does a good job on them... comfy in the pocket.

I went to order... but the reviews are right there on the MESO page. Then I looked elsewhere online - same thing...

Are these failures in execution, maybe?

Interesting. Thanks for pointing those out.

    My impressions:
    -- FF price
It was higher than I was expecting.
-- I saw one about the cost of cutting.
    I paid $4 with tax.
-- One about the key deploying in a pocket.
I've had that happen a time or two when wearing shorts. If it was annoying, I would maybe grind the button down a little.
-- There was one or two about the buttons.
I did have to sand mine (carefully). No big deal to me?
-- The rest were about the blade flying out of the key. One person said that they had to have someone drive a spare key to them.
I had a bitch of a time getting the blade out to be cut, which wasn't necessary. It has been great since installing. I can't remember if I used some thread locker or not? You can insert the bare blade into the ignition and turn it, if needed. Not sure what that person's problem was?

This seems pretty awesome but like OZ TRD, I'm a bit wary after reading the reviews. I also don't like the idea of butchering a working key... That said, Meso seems pretty solid based on threads in this forum.

Have you looked into the seat risers by Desert Does It? It's pricey af (to me: 100USD for just front risers for one seat) but people have sworn by it like it's a cult.

Misunderstood. I know about the accessory mode. I need a....
Engine stop radio still on mode. Without having to wait for half an hour for the radio to restart.

    Just in case.

I didn't kill my key when I pulled the chip out. It was pretty easy to do.

Steering wheel adjustment range of motion. It needs to go much higher.
