Well I was smoking crack when I payed 16k for the tractor front loader and mower deck

 

I guess so.

 

The same thing at john deere dealer was 21k

 

I don't know I pay like 200 a month for the rest of my life well I don't my wife wanted a mower so she technically paying for it I just figured might as well get a front loader and pto while I was there ​

 

I just priced out a smaller 31hp tractor with AC, in case I decide I want to drive off and do more residential side jobs.

 

That's the price of the 3 gen taco I want

 

Yeah it's hard to use a smaller machine like that for any side jobs, those side jobs will pay for the machine and then some, hence why I'm looking at tracked skid steers with AC

 

I agree if your buying equipment it has to make some kind of income it just cost money sitting around

 

The company my dad worked for went out of business cause the owner bought 250 k worth of equipment and didnt hire anybody to run it so it sat around didn't make him any money he bought a brand new peterbilt it sat in the yard for 11 months first time they drove it hiway patrol pulled him over gave him a ticket for having dry rotted tires he the tires don't have any miles on them

 

SS work for land clearing and improvements will cost someone anywhere from $800 to $1400 a day.

 

Here is a quote from last July, this is what I gave my farm bureau agent to cover my equipment in case of theft/lost. And really that doesn't include the roof, aftermarket grill, rear QD, box blade, but it was the main cost what insurance was looking for. I have a 1% deductible.

 

That's a shame, it happens with a lot small businesses out there.


Late November and into December is worst time to buy new equipment, many businesses end up hearing from thier CPA's and the business go out and blow money on new equipment for deduction and depreciation write offs. So the dealers are less likely to discount the equipment they have on hand.

 

I hate when they pull the camera footage from my bus they catch all the times I tell the kids to sit your ass down cause these kids are snowflake now days cause there snowflake parents raise them that way

 

Hey guys. Long day but a good one. Rear Caliper hasn't shown up yet but I finally got my track truck, 4runner, running again. Needs a bit more stuff then I can get it registered again and start the time attack work like a roll cage.
