According to Biden, everyone should be able to get one by May, pretty sure I heard that on the news :notsure: Hope you can get one soon.

    POLITICS!!!!!!!

but no. MT says no vaccine for me until "late summer" - anything before that is for age 60+, front line workers and high risk folks with certain medical conditions

Just got an email from our Superintendent. Our Governor finally approved vaccines for all teachers. So our district cut a deal with Safeway and Albertsons Pharmacies who agreed to do a one day clinic next week for all staff who want the new Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

The VA here called on Monday to schedule the vaccine for tomorrow, but I just had the Shingles shot last week and had COVID 6 weeks ago. They told me I had to wait at least two weeks after the shingles shot and 90 days after having covid before getting the vaccine. So, I'll have to wait at least another 6 weeks, but you should be a shoo-in when you get here.

    Stay healthy.

I was lucky - got my first shingles shot on 8 February.... so April's gonna be a fun month - getting COVID #2 and then 3 weeks later Shingles #2

I'm terrible about scratching itches that I shouldn't and a couple of people in my family have had Shingles. So for me, I think an ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure!

My wife got shingles at age 49. They wouldn’t give her the shot.

I asked for it because she had shingles...and they still wouldn’t give it to me because I hadn’t turned 50 yet at the time.

    :bananadead:

I got that bastard the week I turned 50. Reminded me of that last anthrax shot. Hurt going in and for a week after.

several years ago a friend got shingles due to work-related stress. it affected his optic nerve. migraine is a cakewalk compared to what he goes through when he has a flare-up

I think I'd rather get COVID again than to have Shingles!

Maybe Toyota should include a cat with every vehicle they sell.

My Mother and Sister had shingles. I got the shot last year. I would have considered breaking the law to get it. I've seen the pain first hand, and it's ugly.

Haven't heard anything from my VA or my Primary Healthcare doctor there . I do know they've been giving vaccines to 65 and older Veterans

I do have an appointment with my Neurologist on the 23rd of this month . I'm going to ask about the vaccine at that time
