Right place, right time. Congrats!! Visiting the grand children will be easier for you now.

Today, besides a haircut, call with tax accountant and laundry, I am taking my old Epiphone guitar to a Luthier for a price to fix a bridge lifting off the sound board. If the price is reasonable I will ask him to do a set up on the guitar and restring with strings better suited for a beginner. The lifting bridge is a common problem whit the model Epiphone I own.

I also have a person coming over to look at a bicycle I am trying to sell. Sale should not be a problem, I hve another buyer willing to drive from NW PA to purchase as well a two other local buyers. The sale will pay for part of a new grill.

Everyone have a good day and get ready to relax on the weekend.

Good morning fellow porch people. Big day yesterday so I'm all about a relaxing day today. Finally hit some golf balls at the range and was happy with the results. They gym has helped a lot. At least 20 yards on most of my shots.
Y'all be safe out there today.

    Good morning all TGIF,
Wife and I got the vaccine yesterday. We didn't feel a thing. Neither one of us has any soreness . So all went well. Not much to do today. I am looking to get the bicycle out and go riding for a couple of hours. Got to keep the body moving. I am going to play my guitar and just relax. I would like to burn up some junk and trim some spruce trees but that might wait for next week. I have to get the zero turn out and see how that has fared this winter. Get ready for spring. It is nice to be retired when a person came do what they want to do, when they want to do it. Not cram everything into Saturday. Have a great weekend and stay healthy, wealthy and wise. Be safe.

Aw crap... I turned on the news this morning and am already disgusted. Do I care about the royals and all their drama? No I don't.

Coffee might help. We made an order to be picked up at the grocery store later today, so we'll get out of the house... Yay! Took a drive to Torrey, outside of Capitol Reef Wednesday. Really nice to see the red rock cliffs. Looking forward to some spring treks into the outback.

    Good morning all,

Well our 1-3 inches ended up over 10", shoveled off the garage apron and parts of the patio so the sun can hit it this morning, will plow in a little while, in the low teens right now - no rush.

First email this morning was a beta.SAM.gov notice - we busted out butts to get the response out last night for todays deadline only to find they extended it over night to the 14th - that tells us someone with some weight has asked for an extension to respond - not our first rodeo so we will have to sharpen our pencils and hope our years of experience gets us over the top.

Alice is on a call list for the vaccine, there are three locations in the county now and the one near her office is giving the J&J where she called and got on a list for any no-shows. It appears the county is trying to keep their quotas up an not waste any. My second is next Wednesday.

Got another CAD edition to do for my clients in Texas - go figure... There is some issue with what the Governor has issued and what the venues insurance will allow, can't wait for that interaction at the doors. Part of the NEW COVID protocol is how to protect your staff from those parents that do not want to follow building requirements. Cant we just all get along - sheeesh

Have a good and safe day everyone

Rans are nice bikes. I had a two-wheel recumbent, but my balance sucks, so three wheels. Laidback riding!

My wife got me a T-shirt. "You are not too old to go riding. You get old when you stop riding."

Need to get bids on redoing the asphalt driveway. It is long overdue and needs to be done. I understand asphalt is tied into crude prices, but for a few years, concrete was cheaper! Not sure about the current pricing. A 150' driveway is a nice setback, but that paving bill will suck!

    Morning all

Started tapping maples for the sap run yesterday and already running decent. Got some OT to put in at work today so not much planned for the day.
No shots for this guy. At least with the first two. Have not researched the J&J brand. I don’t feel the need to inject RNA into my body that is less effective than my own immune system. Please don’t take this as a knock to those that have or are getting the shots. Everyone should do what makes them feel safe.
Well I have some bags to empty, eat something and then off to work for a few hours.

    Y’all have a great day!

My neighbor moved to Texas from Maine. Her dad sent the good stuff!

One I notice smoke in the chimney. 80F Texas winter day. She was homesick, cranked the AC way down, and had a fire going. Just smiled as that was great maple syrup.

    Oldie2007,
What kind of wheels do you have on the Tacoma? I like them and wonder if they come in 16" size? Nice truck.

Well shit, all my younger friends on TW told me to go to this group since I just turned 60! I’m guessing this generation knows how to have much more fun anyways :)

 welcome. New guy has to fill the cooler. Pull up a chair - just don't touch the recliner.

They are 2013 FJ Cruiser wheels, and as far as I know, they are 17" only. But you can search from that point. At some point in time, Gulf States Toyota (the importer dealer down here) even put them on Tacomas, but I don't know in what size. The only other Taco I know wearing them around here is also 17". So, with my pizza cutter, "free lift!"

I put 17's on my 09 Tacoma. This year I am going to put all season tires on instead of summer tires. Iwill probably try to sell my stock 15 wheel set up.

    Welcome to the thread.
