I know this is a joke but....
A few years ago we had a custodian who really wanted to make sure the entrance to the Alfond Arena (hockey stadium) was clean, so he hosed it down. Well. Including the fire alarm panel. It was only a $5000 wash job.

I went and looked at the four wheeler, with a flashlight. Needs tires, been sitting. Has new green plastic and a good 2,000 lb Warn winch. I got ready to leave and my buddy said just text me what you think it’s worth. I said no just tell me what you want. He said I was gonna ask $1,000 but for you I’d say $800. I didn’t say anything. He said just text me what you think, I got to go poop.

I came home, gave it a little bit and ask him if he’d take $600, awaiting a response :D

A friend/coworker has a couple of old CJ5 's one is drivable(barely) and the other is just a parts thing, complete drivetrain. He wouldn't give me price said make him a offer...I offered 500.00 he didn't counter...didn't say no...I haven't asked recently. I've got a SBC I'd like to have a V8 CJ..IMG_2041.jpg

It is, especially if I can work on it and sell it for a profit, if I need to.

The one I posted picture of is the one that's barely drivable. He said the steering column is shot, bearing and basically the entire housing is bad he said. I know a guy who specializes in steering column repairs who could set me up with something.

    That’s part I’m not good at...”selling for a profit” :-/
