Just use the brushless ones or wash the old fashioned way.... Driveway and a hose

I stoped that a while ago. Discovered the soap they use in carwashes is what causes the headlights to yellow faster than just UV from the sun. Since I stopped using them and washing it myself, the headlights stay looking clean.

I use the self wash station here in town, $5 for like 12 min or something.

I get the added bonus of washing the previous cars dirt all over my truck with the brush

The worst is when some idiot uses the brush to clean their tires...ugh

I always hit the brush with the pressure washer for before brushing all my pin strips with it.

 

Stopped using those too, at least the soap part. Same soap as drive thru washes, at least here. I dunno what they use here but my headlights will be clear when I go in and yellow by the time I get home, every damn time. Wash it at home, no issues.
