Finally finished mounting up my power panel in the bed. It has been installed and wired up for a few weeks but was like this:

    4ABB5ACF-78EA-410F-A6A8-F7D422A88C52.jpg

3rd try was the charm. 1st I tried VHB tape -didn’t work, 2nd time rivet nuts in the bed but the cutout in the bedside was too big so they had nothing to bite on to.

This time VHB and rivets to secure the pocket to the bed and then rivet nuts in the pocket to bolt the panel on. This way I can access the back of the panel if I ever need to. Really happy with it.

About to go through another resurrection after months of sitting. Hopefully going in next week to replace the toasted 3rd member with new 5.29s if the parts get here in time

Would have been handy if they mentioned that on the phone. My stock exhaust doesn't need it.
I guess I should be way more diligent in my research ...

Sorry to see your truck wrecked and totaled, but glad your wife is ok, and now you have a new project to look for. Sometimes a new start is a refreshing thing. Good luck!

Well I noticed a pretty big misfire at idle and after two days I got the dreaded P0306 code (misfire cylinder 6). I tried clearing the code and it did nothing. Tried swapping out the #5 coil with the #6 coil and it did nothing. So I popped out the #6 plug and I noticed this.
Electrode was loose and would fall into the plug when turned upright and then would fall back out and hit the bridge when turned the other way.
Needless to say, a new plug fixed the issue immediately.

anyone else have this happen? Out of all of the vehicles I’ve ever owned I have never had this happen. I think I may have got fake Denso plugs from eBay.

New headlight assemblies, with that Sport model smokey look. I'm doing fog light assemblies too, also stock, once I get the other one shipped (I did a dumb by only ordering one when I got the headlights). Now I gotta go find a wall to align them on...

Ordered them from a dealership, maybe overpaid but its both good looking and stock so I can't complain.

    Part Numbers:
    RH: 81110-04210
    LH: 81150-04210

As a bonus, they came with bulbs installed which was neat.

Also, they complained that the part #'s weren't compatible with my VIN but had em ship anyway. As many will attest, its direct fitment despite what their records show.

Yep. Preciate it. It’s all working out in the end. Toddler was in the truck with her too. Situation could not have ended better. Not a fun phone call hearing your wife crying screaming your little boys name making sure he’s ok.
