That's got to be an interesting job at times. I will never understand how people get so pissed when something they stopped paying for gets taken back.

 

98% of the time I'm just a very quiet tow truck driver. 1.8% takes a little de escalation. .2% is when it gets wild

 

this dude almost rolled his shit trying to drive off.

 

There was a vid on the local fb where a dude was getting his Tahoe repo'd. They had the rear wheels in the air. Jackass got in the truck and revved the motor up so much it blew It looked like an 2000ish Tahoe......did figure anyone would finance those.

 

And will then want to sue for injuries

 

1990 Ford mustang is my oldest so far. Title loan out of SanFrancisco. $2000 loan at 90% interest rate. Lol. He ran into his house trying to get away.

 

That's why I pull out the phone and record. The video is pretty entertaining

Those loans are meant to be paid back within a day it 2. People don't read the fine print and just see 2k in their pocket..... till I show up

yeah. Been a few times a wife took out a title loan out without the husband knowing. Then I had to explain it to the pissed off husband why I'm taking the family ride while the wife is inside hiding

 

I know the people are at fault, but damn that seems like legal robbery.

 

Absolutely. It's mostly people in the hood that are already hard up for money as is. Its sad

 

It's both sides fault. People should never borrow what they can't pay back, but sometimes people may just need a small loan to get through. It shouldn't cost them a 90% interest rate.

 

The loans have to be that high to pay for people like vegas to come get the shit if the borrowers don't pay.

Yeah, it's kind of a poor tax, but there isn't a good way to fix it.

 

I wouldn't have imagined a 1990 Mustang was worth 2K, so maybe the "customer" won

 

Fox bodies are a fortune now

 

I just wouldn't think that someone that is title pawning a 1990 Mustang for 2K has a clean/valuable one

 

Maybe they watched street outlaws and thought they could make a couple racks in a night

 

Or maybe they just "sold" their piece of shit for 2K
