I think I'd rather get COVID again than to have Shingles!

Maybe Toyota should include a cat with every vehicle they sell.

I saw it on the internet. So it must be true.

My Mother and Sister had shingles. I got the shot last year. I would have considered breaking the law to get it. I've seen the pain first hand, and it's ugly.

Haven't heard anything from my VA or my Primary Healthcare doctor there . I do know they've been giving vaccines to 65 and older Veterans

I do have an appointment with my Neurologist on the 23rd of this month . I'm going to ask about the vaccine at that time

If you use myhealthvet you can send a message to your PCP and ask the status of vaccinations, or call the Firm where you see your PCP to ask.

Well, I just checked my appointment and it's Maderna. I was hoping for Phiser but I guess they are saving the remaining doses for those that got the first Phiser shot.

My wife, who works for the schools, is getting a Johnson & Johnson shot soon. The state is using Johnson & Johnson exclusively for every school employee here, after they got 94,000 doses. While less effective, it is only one shot. My mother, who will be 82 in June, still hasn't got her vaccine. She is not very proactive in trying to sign up online and she is unwilling to travel the 12 miles to Pittsburgh, where they are having mass vaccinations at PNC Park and Heinz Field. I have offered to try to sign her up online, but she said she has my sister in-law doing this, and doesn't want duplication. As for driving her to Pittsburgh, I live nearly 50 miles from her and she lives east of Pittsburgh. It would be about a 125 mile trip and an all day affair, which I will be better able to do once my grandson returns to school 5 days a week. For now, I have suggested my mother ask mother ask my cranky brother, with whom she lives, to take her, since he is currently laid off. I want my mother to get one before I do.

Logistics got me laughing. I live 25 miles from the Phizer plant that’s making the vaccine. Wife already got both doses of the Moderna Vaccine. I am not scheduled yet, but soon. It’s supposed to be the J+J version.:goingcrazy:

Good morning all. Let’s see what Saturday brings.

In CT, the VA just further opened up vaccinations to any service member that’s in the system.

Installed two of these on my garage door openers, with two wyze sensors. Now I can open/close doors with Alexa and see if they are open or closed on phone.
