By those calculations though it looks like with +1mm offset the wheel should be further away from the suspension components than with stock.

Ya but to your point they don’t ask about wheel width. +1 is different for different widths.

So I plugged the numbers into willtheyfit and it looks like the tires will sit 5mm further from the suspension components than stock. (Assuming your stock config is a 7.5” with +25). I don’t remember stock specs.

So they should fit under those assumptions but you will have trouble if you ever upgrade to a high caster aftermarket UCA as they typically require more room

I vote -12 on a 17. CMC makes sense the rest is variable. Some slight inner fender trimming. I just took it off with a knife on a trail until no more. I did do the pinch but did not have any issues more for extra. Which helped when I went from 285 to 315.

I get your point and you point is well taken but there are literally hundreds of threads in this subforum alone with the info you are looking for. There is everything you need to know in the sticky threads, let alone the hundreds of other threads made because no one wants to make any effort to search and find the info they want/need, they want to have it catered to them specifically.

I don't disagree with you, but at this point everything has been covered to some point. Look back at some of the post you created yourself, I'm sure if you searched long and hard enough the topic had been covered as well, but maybe not exactly for your particular setup...

For the record, I did use the search function and even searched Facebook groups... Look how long I've been a member, look at how few question threads I've started... I usually do my best to NOT start a new thread if I can find what I need... And this was no different, I searched for hours, Lots of talk about lifts, tires, even offsets... Not one that answered my question exactly though.

I know lots of people get tired of the "what tire can I fit" threads and I understand why, but at the same time things change constantly. And everyone doesn't run the same setups and not every truck is the same. So you can get two guys running the same setup, one needs a CMC, the other doesn't. It happens.

Lots of info on the internet is generic, meant to cover a wide range of vehicles and wheels, but the people on Tacoma world have basically been the Guinea pigs for us and often are nice enough to share what they've learned, and this info isn't generic, it's tried tested and true for the truck we drive.

But again, I get what you're saying, no hard feelings.
