Looks really good though so it was worth it!

 

Just recently hit 60k miles (bought it used at 58k), so I had the first oil change today.

Also picked up a ratcheting cargo bar at the local Harbor Freight: Fits great, seems very sturdy, and had good reviews. Feel like that was $23 well spent.

 

Agreed, I’ve given up on Caliraised after this experience. They said nothing about having to notch the wind deflector. Their brackets are not well thought out and don’t allow much adjustment to the bar, and are WAY overpriced for what they are. This expensive bracket was advertised as a way to simply add that lightbar. That is far from the case and very disappointing. I’m in the process now of making a bracket that actually works for the exact application this is advertised for.

 

Yeah, I haven't heard many good things about this company. Seems like all rebranded stuff

 

the bad thing is once you get it up there, there is no way to make adjustments because the Hex bolt is to close to the fairing. You will have to take the fairing off again to adjust. I guess you could replace the hex bolt with a traditional head bolt so you could adjust with a box wrench. Also my light is tilted slightly up, and is resting on the fairing. I really need to put a washer and longer bolt onto the t Nut to lift the mount a tiny bit.

 

Changed out the home link mirror for a frameless + compass homelink
And installed a TRD “performance” intake

Great idea. I was thinking of getting some of that to put on the lower edge of the wind fairing like prinsu come with. Makes sense to add a piece where those sharp edges are too like you stated

Have you noticed any difference in sound since installing the intake? Been thinking about it myself..

 

Surprisingly Olathe beat the Bam pricing once shipping was included.

 

As I mentioned in another reply, Olathe was cheaper than BAM once shipping was included.

 

I’ve heard a sound difference. If you want something g more noticeable, the TRD exhaust gives more bang for your buck as well. Combined together and you get a nice little sound upgrade.

Man. I've been kicking myself for going with black over cement when I had the chance. That grey looks outrageous when clean or dirty

 

Doesn’t fully cover, but better than the all chrome.
The blue goes, there’s a little bit of blue in the metallic paint.
Hands went numb (cold) guess I’ll do the Tacoma letters tomorrow.
