Respectfully disagree with this one. I know plenty of incredible engineers (and folks in other professions) who most definitely "C-minused" their way through school. So did I. And I'm pretty far from a Safeway bean stocker. GPA is an incomplete way to define competence.

Don't fly in a helicopter, a plane, or drive a vehicle if you don't trust "C-minus" engineers.

We're not going to convince each other. And that's ok, we don't have to agree. I've worked with a few engineers in my life and humility wasn't even on their radar...any of them. Maybe there are exceptions....maybe they ARE the exceptions and the majority aren't like that. But from my experience that piece of paper means very little.

No apologies needed at all. We're good, my friend. I don't mean to pick on any one person either, but when I hear (or read) the "I'm an engineer, I know better" comments (from anyone, no specifics given), I do just roll my eyes...wasn't joking about that part. But I'm sure I do that because of the engineers/other various college educated folks that I know personally.

Now I have never one time called the op a name. I didn't just ride on a sub, or just build a fish tank. At this point I have decided the problem is actually you. You are one of those people who gets mad and upset at correction meant to help. I have watched several of that personality type destroy thier own lives. So I will offer advice for you because I own a manual transmission, you may discount it. Remove the chip from your shoulder, what ever caused you to be so self-destructive remove it from your life. Search out God, and submit your life to Jesus.

I find it strange that folks are willing to offer up knowledge to help but then others get upset over it. If you don't like what is being offered...don't take it. Simple as that but if you choose to get upset over it you might want to ask yourself why you are getting upset over it. Also, why do you ASSume people are being know it alls. :notsure:

Hey bro banter is cool with me but can we please save religion and politics and shit for someplace else? Got my coolant pump for the intercooler in. Superchargeronline seems cool if anyone is looking for magnuson sc parts.

Many competent people replied to you with respect. They disagreed, but were still respectful, yet you still had a crap attitude, disrespected the., and dismissed anything they said without consideration. Why walk uphill constantly when there are other paths?

No politics. Just you proving the point I made.
    Proverbs 12:1

I wish you a great deal of success. My experience tells me, it will be difficult if not impossible.

I expect one day you will remember when someone you didn't know, offered good advice, you didn't want.

Superchargers kick butt, and I hope you are very satisfied with it.

That’s pretty deep for a seat lifter thread. I’m not really sure what kind of success your talking about but I’m happy with my life so thanks I guess?

Disagreed with what? My opinion? Who cares? It’s a discussion forum you don’t have to agree with me and I don’t have to agree with you that’s what makes it interesting. Did I hurt your feelings or something?

Obviously you didn't understand my post. There's absolutely nothing wrong with disagreeing, that what we're here for, to share opinions. But what advantage does the s#!tty, disrespectful attitude give you? Most likely it just makes people dismiss you before you're ever taken serious. The tough guy act just isn't working for ya man.
