My parents have a central vacuum system

 

I still have the Tristar vacuum I paid over a grand for back in 1999. Still works great.

 

Bro, that pet eraser attachment is fucking FIRE!

I love that shit as I've got that one as well as a mini shampoo one I've used in the car.

 

Those corded vacuums are beasts, they last forever and can suck the hair off an egg. We have a small house though with a lot to work around so we opted for one the cordless stick vacuums. Battery lasts like 4 min if you use it on full power lol. But at med power it works well enough for our whole house.

 

When I bought my 1st house, the mortgage rate had just come down to 11% from something like 14%. There was so much pent-up demand it was a seller's market. Any decent house you had to make a decision about making an offer before you left viewing it. Someone would be next in line for the showing and would make an offer. I think it took something like 20% down to get financing. My how times have changed.

 

The kirby people came by one time and tried to sell me one. They started at $2400 and we were down to $900 by the time I kicked them out. Tried to guilt me by saying that the sales persons entry to win a new car depended on this sale. They're great vacs but thats the worst way to get me to buy one.

 

Goddamn a thousand dollar vacuum in 1999... Did it connect to AOL too?

 

I just looked on ebay and the same 20 year old vacuum they have sells for around $200 still.

I left the full size shampooer at the old house.

New house isn't gonna have carpet.

 

Just about the same as i likee vacuuming my room as a kid. Not much lol

 

I enjoy vacuuming. Hated doing it as a kid though, probably because it was one of my weekly chores

 

Thats how they got theirs. A friend was a door to door vacuum salesman and hooked them up.

 

Just check CL and your local marketplace. We found a new Kirby Diamond Jubilee power drive with all the attachments for $125. The guy's wife refused to use it because couldn't understand how to put on the attachments. He got mad and sold it for cheap.

 

I hate when the girl scouts outside the store tell me they don't get to go to Astro Camp if I don't buy 5 boxes of Tagalongs. Works every time

 

At least they aren't being molested as bad as the boy scouts.

 

Local trail society has two mountain bike trails closed cause two people got attacked by coyotes at separate times yesterday. Dont think Ill be going over there anytime soon.
