Can you lower the winch so it pulls under the box?

 

Weld porn it is not.

 

I can and would need to lower it about 2" i think to keep the line from rubbing on the bottom edge of the box. it will be a pita because the existing mount is 4x4" angle welded to the front of the trailer.

Debating cutting the legs off the box, sliding it back, and putting the winch inside.

 

Fuck it, looks good enough to me. You welding 3/16"? I probably would crank up the amperage a little bit if you can but I also can't claim i know what I'm doing

 

What about moving the box up? Easy enough to try anyway.

 

Fairleads? Pillow block pulleys?

 

Also looks like it is feeding forward towards the toe vehicle.

 

That's all the amps my little welder has. It's 1/4". I also have no idea what I'm doing.

 

I definitely grind more than I weld.
