2021 4Runner TRD Pro Replica Wheels

What are the prevailing thoughts on a rim for the spare? Do you all order 5 rims or 4, with 5th being a cheaper alternative for the spare? Just curious as this is my first foray into the aftermarket wheel journey.

 

As long as they are similar enough in size (final size tire/wheel) it's a personal preference. If it's hidden under the truck, maybe a steely, if it's mounted on a swing-out, maybe a 5th nice wheel.

Does ETA of mid-April mean you plan to start shipping these at that time?

And is that still an accurate timeframe? I know a lot of things have been backed up.

If I pre-order in gunmetal, but then decide to change the color once the pics are available, will this be an issue?

Correct, current ETA for orders to start shipping is mid-April. If anything changes I'll be sure to let you all know.

No at all! As long as we still have available inventory to allocate to your order and the wheels haven't shipped out we will gladly switch it. I will say that the satin/matte black is probably the most popular though, so it should sell out first.

 

I just ordered a set of gunmetal and a set of satin black; one for my wifes 2019 4runner and the other for my 2021 Tacoma!
Is there a special TPMS to be used on these rims?

Yeah the lack of pics for the other colors is definitely hurting this. I know it is what has me hesitating.

 

I wonder if the 16x8 option (vs 16x7) is hurting the poll? I like my tires thin, so don’t really want to go to a wider rim.

 

If it hits 19 I'll make it 20.

Hey guys! Sorry for the delayed response, been pretty slammed at work lately

Just got word today from our production team that ETA will have to be pushed back 2 weeks (end of April)... the price of aluminum spiked again this Monday and getting our hands on it has slowed things down a bit. I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated as soon as I get any more details.

Also, I’m hoping to get pictures of the other finishes very soon. Been bugging our production team for a sample to snap some quick pictures for you guys. Our marketing team did send me a couple “close up” shots they took of the Matte Black finish though.

 

Will you be doing these rims in a bronze finish? If so, I’m in for a order. Thanks.
