13,522.08 out the door for the 500excf, that price includes the state inspection, registration tags & title
not exactly cheap, no special deals or freebies either it seems...

When you look at coms besides just the features try to go somewhere that you can actually handle them. Things like button size and placement that look okay in the ad can be useless or downright miserable once on your helmet and you have gloves on. This is actually part of why I still use the Sena SMH-10. Only 2 controls, a small button used mostly for the phone and a large jog dial/button for volume, intercom control, and control of my iPod touch. Simple as a brick. My niece and her dad bought some coms off Amazon for use on their 4 wheelers and found after only 2 times of use that they sucked. She called me and a week later they had the SMH-10 units and wish they'd just asked me first.

For any of you interested in trying a rally of sorts Team Strange has just opened registration for the Butt Lite Grand Tour. I just registered and it looks like a good time. Only need to hit 20 bonus locations between April 15 and November 15. Bonus list is available to look at without registering and the locations that I've looked over so far look cool.

Today I achieved my dream of bringing my bike along to drop the truck off at the auto shop.

Done that. Much easier and more enjoyable with the Grom instead of the WR.

I am also registered. In fact I was literally just loading the GPX files into my planning tool.

I’d be remiss not mention the Tour of Honor starts April 1st. Hundreds of veterans related memorials, proceeds go to a few military related charities, and it runs April through October so can go whatever pace you want. I highly recommend checking it out: http://www.tourofhonor.com

Any Guzzi riders around here? This is mine a while back, before I installed the Mistral Shorties.

This will be my 7th year riding Tour of Honor. Ride to Meet banquet will be in Gettysburg, PA this year. Hoping to make it. It was supposed to be there in 2020 but we all know how that worked out.

i know the feeling.Had one of my doxies go in to the vet last year this time. For not eating, cancer throughout he body.had to make the decision immediately. Now one of my girls developed a neurological issue. She looses control of her legs. She will be walking and all of a sudden bam she is down and cant get back up.Vet has givin us steriods to give her but said they will kill her in the long run.I was ready to make the call 2 weeks ago. But wife and older son said no.Son is in denile. He does not get up with her to carry her outside so she can do her business. she used to be a little spark plug. Now she just sleeps all day. When she does muster the energy to get up and walk its only a short distance till she falls over. Its hard watching this little girl witter away.

Friend of mine posted on one of the FJR forums recently Amtrak is running a special price for the Auto Train right now with travel until the end of June. I just checked pricing and for my g/f and I to take the bike one way from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL with a sleeperette room is only $305. Seriously considering it and riding down to visit Key West. Never been there before and always heard cool stuff. Go do that and take several days and ride back home.

Bike is looking good! Love that it's all blacked out. I also like the clutch cable running in between the trees. Mine is just out there flappin in the wind!

After spending $250 on used seats trying to find one I like, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Step Up from Dennis Kirk.

Plan is to ride home from there. Why waste around 900 miles of good tread on I-95? :boink:
