    I just finished season 1 of "Counterpart" on Prime.
    It's a spy thriller set in modern day Berlin with a sci-fi twist, stars JK Simmons.
    Well acted, well shot. Good mix of action and intrigue.

    Homeland was based off an Israeli show in the first place haha, called Prisoners of War

    Honestly it does a fantastic job of humanizing both Israelis and Iranians. Makes them seem more similar than the media makes it seem. We need more shows like this.

    I agree. I dated a Iranian girl for several years, it's a fascinating culture with so much cool history that gets overlooked by the west because, well, reasons we can't get into on TW lol.
