@somebody if you’re not sure don’t rush your decision as there will always be sales down the road. Keep researching and seeking advise. Really think about your application and your needs specific to you and your truck.

I spent about six months thinking about what I should do as there are also many options for 1st gens. TW was a wealth of knowledge 10 years ago and many of my newbie questions were answered.

I went with full OME suspension and 10 years later I can honestly say it is been just wonderful with no regrets.

    just my 2 cents worth

I am about the same as your Subaru.

It was fun seeing all your mileage screens on your newer Tacoma’s!

I took a picture of my RAV4 when I got home from work.....10.5
This has been my average for the last year as I have not done any long trips due to Covid.

    I can average 6 to 7 L per hundred kilometres on a flat road driving 80 km/h and turning 1500 RPM in fifth gear but that’s no fun:bikewheelie2: With a 3.5 L 2GR-FE!

Normally I'd point out the difference in aerodynamics and weight, but I'll keep quiet ... :anonymous:

Average of 6-7 is quite a result though...

They sure do look flat, Are they not supposed to smile a little bit?

At least they’re not frowning that would be really bad.

Looks like my old truck when I would fill the bed to the top with hardwood for the stove.

What's that stuff on your frame? The stuff the dirt is sticking to. Looks similar to mine.

Yikes, well I have like MAYBE 50lbs of stuff in the truck, Including the tonneau cover. Parked on a slight uphill but nothing dramatic.

The dirt is sticking to my undercoating, corrosion free. Not helping with weight reduction I suppose..

Mine looked the same when I got it. Changed to all-famous dakar and it's still a little sad...

Wait... Are you talking about a dude that went somewhere with a Honda crv alone, got stuck, requested help in a group, a jeep came in, got also stuck and had to request help from a Tacoma with a winch?

Anyways, that happened, a couple of days after I was in "Mexico" .

I talked with that guy, and told him the dude that opened the gates of hell should apologize to him.
