A little something every chance we get.
Happy Saturday evening Porch People! Made it to HTX safely and back, and a very well attended show at a very nice new Toyota dealership. 15 minutes after "opening", and we had to park even further off the main group. Probably 75 -100 vehicles in all. Treated like stars when we drove in, as probably half the sales force was waving and taking pictures of us coming in. Made it with 4 other San Antonio guys, and one we picked up on the way from Austin area.
(PANIC REPORT: event was all outdoor, and well masked. The exceptions were the younger crowd, but many of them were masked too. Most relaxed when in their own group. It felt safe, and I avoided most of the unmasked I didn't know anyway.)
It's been so long, I had forgotten that I have a hard time in the sun with my glasses and the phone camera. So, I missed some cool shots I THOUGHT I took. Here's a few to give you an idea.

The first two are for @Tacoma Mike . Mechanic at Keating Toyota has been at this truck for 17 years. It's sanitary everywhere....

Oh, I got my flag delivered on the day of the LAST C&C SA meet last year. First time it's made it to an event. Makes it easy to find my truck!

    20210306_164118.jpg

One of my favorite Houston trucks it the Tiki Bar! He's added some trick stuff. The front plate frame is from Toyota Maui (yes, he got it there). The TRD exhaust tip is "TRD Bora Bora", and the tailgate extender is now "TRD" too! (Geez - not shown is the surfboard, and Tiki umbrella. You can see the bar!)

Good morning, everyone!! Still a few days of cold temps here - snowed off and on most of yesterday but with no accumulation. Next week we warm up into the high 40s and low 50s. I am ready.

Still waiting on our insurance company about the tree damage but we've pretty much decided to pull down the building. After replacing 24 double hung windows it would still be an old converted building that would need even more work. That will be our spring project.

    Stay safe and warm!

Thank You Kirt for the pictures.
Nice to see people out and about and enjoying what life has to offer.
    I love that size truck.
    Lots of TLC...
Not a fan of the slammies though.

coolest inventive pic you have is the bed extender.
Makes me really wanting some spring weather and getting the Bass Boat and Race Cars out
    and fired off.
But at 11° at the moment I’ll settle some melting which might happen this coming week.

    You gonna rebuild similar?
The building looked really nice sitting there.
(Well, without the tree. I was looking beyond that)

Not sure at this point. It was one of several my father-in-law built over the years.

It started out as a pool house with storage overhead - it sat next to the old pool on the property. It served as an extra place for people to sleep - had bunk beds in it at one time, then became a place to keep the beer kegerator...and eventually just got filled with crap. Lynn and I eventually cleaned it out and converted it over to a greenhouse just to provide some use for it. If we do anything but tear it down, we'll probably put up a real greenhouse, run water to it - there's already electricity run - but we're just not sure what to do, especially until we see what we will get from the insurance.

Good Morning early risers... Second covid shot day:) today. I might have to relax a bit afterwards.
Thanks for posting the pictures Kurt:thumbsup:. Some great looking trucks, especially the Tiki Bar truck. The bamboo tail pipe and bed extenders were a great touch. Glad you had good weather and a great day.
Hope the insurance company comes around and settles soon Mark. Need to get Lynn a new workshop.
Have a great day folks and be safe.

    YES!!!

Looks like a nice event. Went to one down in Virginia a few years back. Lots of trucks with serious mods and a lot of hand crafted modifications. TY for sharing.

Good morning Rob! You need to stop by more often. Are you down in Arizona for the winter now?

Had my first C19 shot yesterday. The process started off a little chaotic but when it was done time spent was only an hour and a half. The entire operation was well run with the exception of the vehicle entrance to parking and the process of entering the building. Once inside it was well run. I received the Pfizer shot. No discomfort yesterday and hardly any today. I can feel the area where the shot was administered but there is no pain at all.

Sold my Weber Performa grill yesterday. A nice weekend for me. Sold my bike and grill for the asking price on both. Put the money away for a pellet grill purchase later in the spring.

Good morning folks. Headed to 67* today and the golf course is dry finally. Going to clean up the cart and head down there around 10 or 11. Ribs later on today. Can't wait.

    Howdy Tom  Thank you.
No Sir, still in Alaska year round. Last time I was in PHX was March 2018. Haven't been out of Alaska since then. Grandkids have settled into a pattern of coming up 4-6 weeks every Summer and 2 weeks at Christmas.
I've another 6 to 11 years working, depending what the good Lord wills.
Nice job liquidating and reinvesting, pellet grills are great; a friend has one and loves it.

    Morning all:
Looks like a neat place to hang out MQQSE!

We need to see some pics of those big bass!
My PB LM is 24 1/2", and SM is 19 1/2", both caught while trolling for walleye's at night. I doubt if I will ever top the LM, but the river I fish does have SM's that are 20+ although most of them seem to be around 9-12". Just thinking, I got that LM over 40 yrs. ago and nothing even close to it since.
