    Good morning all,

MQQSE - love your place, beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like everyone had a very busy day yesterday, can't say the same here. Spent too much time on trying to unlock a CAD file for work - gave up after awhile and will contact the client tomorrow. You can tell a lot of companies have downsized / furloughed key staff. The file they sent me is their internal working CAD for the facility not one that should be shared.

Snow is melting as we got to 47 yesterday and it was only 21 this morning when walking the dogs. Getting warmer then BANG another cold front and snow predicted for later this week. We are now in our Spring snow to mud to snow to mud cycle - as long as we keep getting the weekly snow we will have a good shot of making it through the late spring and summer run up to monsoon season without (hopefully) many fire issues.

Have a great day everyone - be safe

    Morning all,

I love fishing the slop with frogs for bass. Need new batteries for the boat. Cranking and for the trolling motor.
The rivers are open by the dams but lakes have a foot or more of ice on them yet.
Sap is flowing decent and will be cooking soon. E51F9E07-F205-4F62-B676-6E33F5F251B0.jpg

I have a river spot that’s fun to fish in the spring when I don’t want to get the boat out. Never know what you’ll catch there.

    Have a good day all,

    Good Morning everyone.

Been out with the chain saw clearing the downed Texas Cedar (Juniper Bush - Juniperus ashei). Just taking a break waiting for medication to kick in. Parkinsons and Chainsaws, to things that don't belong together.

Appreciate the Toyota Meet photos, and morning fishing looks great. We have two 4' x 8' raised beds. Our local rabbits seem to enjoy the garden more than we do. For years they left the Japaeno's plants alone, but we have a critter that loves them, so always a race to see who makes. A greenhouse would make much more sense. Armadillos can dig down, and under, a neighbor used 4' deep concrete to keep them out.

    Still thinking of camper shells.

Porchies, I need some advice, please. I suddenly got slammed with tons of unwanted emails, many from apparently similar mailing lists, none of which has my name as yet, just my email address. I'm getting 30 or so every day for the past week. I am on several email lists of my choosing, and use this address for a number of personal and business contacts, so just dumping it is not an easy option. I have hit the unsubscribe button on my iPhone to no avail, they keep coming. How do I extricate myself from this mess, and how vulnerable am I to identity theft? Help!!!

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
All of this talk of bringing "stuff" out of storage from winter , and I wanted to pass this on. Probably everyone here already knows this , but here goes.
This was the first year I had used a small (cheap) device called a battery maintainer. I got this one from harbor freight on sale -under 10 bucks I store my ZTR mower (Scag 36 Liberty Z) under my back room addition. This is dry but is not temperature controlled. The mower was under there from Nov of last year till last week. I went out there and pulled the mower out and thought -thinking this may take a bunch of cranking to get it going. I fully choked it and to my surprise it started in a instant. I used to take the battery on anything (kept outside) out of the unit and store it in basement (heated ) then recharge it, then re-install. Wow what a difference -these things are - "the cat's meow) (GREAT). Of course you need a plug in for it, and that may be the only drawback.
Just passing this along if anyone has never tried these things. My neighbor has about 6-8 vintage garden tractors, and he keeps one of these on all of his "toys" all of the time , and he even has a heated garage. He says the cheaper ones work fine and when they go bad he just pitches them. Only a couple have crapped out on him. That is where I got the idea of trying one.
I just looked on Amazon -- they are cheaper for the most part at Harbor Freight. Although they have some cheapies as well.
    Also called battery tenders

E-mail? Keep unsubscribing. It takes some time for the worst offenders to update their lists.

You can also block e-mail addresses. Select the email, tap on the sender, a list will come up, select “block this contact”, select “done”.

As to identify theft an iPhone is one of the better devices. Keep the IOS version(s) up to date.

Thanks for that, I've been doing that for spam phone calls, but missed it for emails. Long process, and they keep coming.

What the Gentleman from Maryland said (below) works for me. It's what I do for unwanted e-mail, texts, and phone calls ( I don't know nobody in Jamaica ).

Yep, they work great; that and some Stabil in the gas generally does the trick. :)

    Sound advice Sir. :hattip:

Moderna? Most folks I know that had said @11 hrs after they had flu like aches and a little nasea ... cleared in a day. For most part sleep it off as much as you're able; I reckon one doesn't feel up to much anyway under those circumstances. Be well my friend.

Looks like some of those groups you do signed up with sold your email address - it happens a lot. If the new ones have an "unsubscribe" listing at the end of the email you may want to select it - if it is a legit site you will get a link to unsubscribe and a selection request on why, I always select the "I did not sign up for" button. I find those will stop within a week. If you have to re-enter your email address beware those can be what they call phishing. I am not a iPhone/Pad,Mac user so do take advice from those on here that are just in case I missed something. I do use PC Matic for my protection and find they do a lot of screening the illegit stuff so the ones I do get are usually lists that were sold.

Good luck it is a pain in the behind once your email gets sold - it just doesn't seem to stop.

Don't believe I've ever heard of that one. Is that another regional delicacy? I do like those ingredients, sounds tasty ... and of course my southern roots say anything fried up is good to go! :hungry:

It's got Brit roots Rob. Basically it's anything leftover that you mix in with mash potatoes and fried up with butter. It got it's name because it bubbles when you are fryng it and when the bubbles burst they say it squeaks(but in my case the squeak come after I eat it:D) try it, it is addicting.

Fortunately we had friends who were born and raised during the war and that's what their parents used to do with leftovers. How about Heinz baked beans over buttered toast? One of my favorites is steak and kidney pie with a hand pumped speckled hen beverage :thumbsup:.
