Emailed Cindy last week for an update. She said "your parts have been ordered but we have buried our vendor and they are running a bit behind schedule." Not sure what this means exactly in terms of time, but my guess is "mid-March to early April" means mid-March probably ain't happening.

Yes sir, perfect! With your 5' bed and mine being 5.5 on my Crewmax Tundra I'm thinking the front lip will be just behind the B-pillar and sunroof, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

    Safe travels dude!

When did you pay your 50% deposit? Trying to get an idea of how far behind they are

First week of February. But just to be clear I’m not saying they’re behind the original schedule. I was originally told end of April to end of May. Assumed June. At time of deposit was told mid-March to early April. That’s a month ahead of the original estimate. I think they’re just cranking them out ASAP but clearly they have supply delays. Bottom line, “I’ll see you when I see you.”

Yep, makes sense. Very understandable; I know everyone's feeling the pain of part shortages and delays. It's an issue I experience all too often at my own job. I originally was hoping to get mine at least before June when we paid our initial deposit way back in October, and it sounds like that's very much still on the table, so I'm still a happy camper. But the final mile of waiting is by far the hardest!

Looks great and compact! Can I ask how long it took to put it all together and approximate cost? Did you follow the video from Revere overland on YouTube? Lastly does yours make that clicking sound that I have seen in other videos? That seems to be almost a killer for me personally!

They’ll all make that noise. It’s a result of the positive displacement fuel pumps they all use. I have an Espar D2 that does the same, and so does my buddy’s Webasto.

Looks great! Any heat issues with that exhaust port getting the plastic box that it's touching too hot? It looks like it's at least a bit air gapped between the metal that touches the plastic box and the part that actually touches exhaust fumes, at least. Do you plan on running this outside the canopy, or do you have a separate exhausting plan?

nope no heating issues, i used a through hull exhaust port. I guess these are typically used in marine applications but it works great here, i also full sealed the exhaust and wrapped it in exhaust wrap. the box itself gets a little warm but no, no melting at all or anything like that. all in all total build price was probably around $230ish

i mainly followed this guy on his build. however i did not add a fan and all that mumbo jumbo. i really dont find all the extra things he did necessary. with proper venting it runs just fine. and only draws .4amps while in low setting. it will push just over 10amps on start up and cool down because of the glow plug.this guy now offers all his 3D printed parts in the youtube link as well
