Found a mysterious yellow/green fluid under my truck today, it had no smell and the consistency of water. After sliding underneath I found it's condensation leaking from an exhaust connection. This is the connection just downstream of where the Y pipe reduces from two to one. I read online that color is usually from gas additives. Either way, has anyone repaired a leak here before and what was involved? The bolts don't turn and I'm assuming I'd need to torch them or cut them off. Is there a donut gasket in this connection that would just need to be replaced? Trying to decide whether it's worth doing or if I should bring it to an exhaust shop or mechanic.

There is a gasket in there best bet for getting those bolts off is lots of PB blaster and some heat. They don’t look too bad. But yeah you could also just cut them off and replace them with new ones. Auto parts stores would have both of those items. Or you can go to Toyota since the bill won’t be super huge on this one.

Cool maybe I'll just do it myself. I'll have to go under and look at it again. Would you just slide the downstream half of the exhaust back to split the connection? Wondering if I'll need to disconnect any other connections to get to it.

you should have enough room to place the new gasket in
